The gathering marks a transition from the execution of the 2025 LGA and LCDA elections to a phase of structured evaluation and institutional growth.
Addressing an audience of distinguished Commissioners, staff, and members of the press, Hon. Adekanye described the retreat as a "necessary pause" in the continuous cycle of electoral administration. He emphasized that the primary goal of the session is to analyze outcomes and embrace innovations that meet the evolving needs of Lagos State stakeholders.
"We are not here to assign blame, but to assume responsibility. We are not here to offer excuses, but to proffer solutions."
